Riccardo Giovanetti

Milano, Italy

Born in Milan, Italy, Riccardo Giovanetti went on to attend the Faculty of Architecture at Milan Polytechnic and graduated in Industrial Design in 1992. He started his journey as a designer for a number of new brands across Italy and Japan. As the world entered a new millennium, a new phase started and the world of industrial design saw an upswing. Keeping up with the times, he collaborated with prestigious firms like as Azimut, Cassina, Fast, Flou, Fontana Arte, Leucos, Pallucco, SpHaus, Whirlpool. He is also serving as a design director for several international firms namely, Armstrong, Bayer, Forbo, Frati, Takett, Omnidecor. His exemplary design work has won him many awards and some of his work has become a permanent feature in renowned exhibition halls. He is also a visiting professor at ISAD – Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design and SCP – Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.
